Our environment is fundamental to our well being. On all levels we are affected on a daily basis. From the land to the air and sea, we cannot live without our environment impacting us or us having an impact on our environment.
In an ideal world, we would not have to apply fertiliser, we would not have challenges in terms of air pollution, dwindling fisheries and waterway pollution, however we do not have an ideal situation.
At Mainland Minerals we firmly believe that when we work with nature, we are able to obtain better results. By bring nature back into balance, we are able to optimise soil fertility, pasture nutrition, animal health and ensure a sustainable environment for all.
Each and every human being can reduce their negative impact on the environment, by making informed and thoughtful choices our world can improved.
In support of our beliefs, we use Chlorine Free Recycled Paper in all our promotional material. Where possible, we participate in plastic and paper recycling schemes. By making small changes, we know we help in making a huge difference both in New Zealand and impact the world.
Our products have little to no nitrogen, reducing nitrogen leaching. Our application methodology ensures reduced drift, thus reducing river and waterway pollution. Our fertilisers are in balance with nature; a detailed soil analysis indicates the type of brew and required volumes that need to be applied in order to bring the soil back into balance, therefore no “extra” unnecessary product is applied to your pasture. As our products are applied as fine particles, less is require to produce more as the fine particles are readily made available to the plant. (One can compare a peppercorn to ground pepper.)
