  • Formation of Mainland Minerals and takeover of Wonder Distributors
  • Moved premises to Hilton Highway
  • Upgraded plant
  • Total number of employees 4, including Marty Kimble and Mike McCombie - "The Multitaskers"
  • Product supply chain established
  • Bought first fax machine
  • Importation of first hay and sileage inoculants
  • Perry Laboratories handle all soil tests

  • First aerial application of fertiliser

  • First suspension trials at Winton
 

1992

  • opened Southland branch in Pukurau
 

1995

  • Groundspread operation of FPA begins
  • Staff compliment has grown to 20
 

1997

  • Operating from rumpus room in Banks Ave
 

1998

  • Moved to Deans Ave, Christchurch and shared a building with Fletcher Construction, overlooking Hagley Park
  • Dr Tim Jenkins joins the team to establish credible and independent soil testing methodologies. The birth of Soiltech.
 

1999

  • Break into the North Island market with a plant in New Plymouth
 

2000

  • Moved Head Office to Annex Road, Hilmortan
 

2001

  • Moved Office to 2 Nazareth Road, Hillmorton and shared offices with Jenkins Biolabs

2004

  • Acquisition of first 2 fixed wing planes

  • Partnership with Rural Women NZ
  • Relocated North Island operation from New Plymouth to Waipukurau
